DID YOU KNOW?
The answer
The twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Revelation 21:14: "And the wall of the city has twelve foundations, and on them are the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb." The verse does not spell the twelve names out.
Why it’s interesting
The writer names himself four times and calls himself "your brother" (Revelation 1:9), never an apostle. Some early readers identified him as the apostle John. Nothing in the book itself ties him to the apostle beyond the shared name.
