Mostly Hebrew, with a few sections in Aramaic (parts of Daniel and Ezra). The Greek translation many early Christians used, the Septuagint, came later.
Why it’s interesting
Aramaic was the region's spoken language after the exile — the everyday tongue Jesus himself likely used. So the Bible's two testaments were first written in three languages between them.
