The answer

Down to Sheol, to his son. "No, I shall go down to Sheol to my son, mourning" (Genesis 37:35). Jacob believes Joseph is dead and expects to join him there.

Why it’s interesting

Joseph is alive. His brothers sold him and dipped his robe in a goat's blood to fool their father (Genesis 37:31-33). Sheol is the Bible's most common word for the world of the dead.
