In the Sermon on the Mount, saying which words to someone makes a person "liable to the hell of fire"?

The answer

"You fool." Matthew 5:22 climbs in three steps: anger is liable to judgment, an insult is liable to the council, "and if you say, 'You fool,' you will be liable to the hell of fire." The Greek word under "hell" there is Gehenna, the valley's name.

Why it’s interesting

The council in that verse is the Sanhedrin, the Jewish ruling council. The verse belongs to a run where Jesus quotes a command from the Torah, the Law of Moses, and then says "But I say to you," six times in the chapter.
