Daniel. "Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt" (Daniel 12:2). Job 14:12 says the dead "will not awake or be roused out of their sleep."
Why it’s interesting
It is a rare place in the Old Testament where the dead rise in the body. And Daniel does not have all the dead wake, only "many."
