THIS MIGHT SURPRISE YOU
The answer
Disagree. Luke calls the Sadducees "those who say there is no resurrection" (Luke 20:27). Acts adds that they deny angels and spirits too (Acts 23:8). They rejected beliefs about life after death that they could not find in the Torah, the five books of Moses.
Why it’s interesting
The Pharisees did believe in the resurrection. The Sadducees' question to Jesus about a widow married to seven brothers in turn seems to have been aimed at that belief (Luke 20:27-33).
