John 19:30. The others end differently: Luke 23:46 has "Father, into your hands I commend my spirit." In Mark 15:34 and Matthew 27:46 the last quoted words are "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" — though both then report a further loud cry with no words given (Mark 15:37; Matthew 27:50).
Why it’s interesting
Each Gospel gives Jesus a different last word. Literary scholarship reads each as fitting that Gospel's portrait — Mark's cry of abandonment, Luke's trust, John's completion. The text hands you four endings and lets them stand.
