Silence. "When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour" (Revelation 8:1). Then seven angels are handed seven trumpets, and a new round begins.
Why it’s interesting
After horsemen, martyrs and a falling sky, the last seal brings no disaster at all. The pause reads as a reverent silence before God, with echoes in the prophets Habakkuk and Zechariah.
