Matthew 8:28 describes 'two demon-possessed men' meeting Jesus among the tombs. Mark 5:2 and Luke 8:27 describe a single man. When Jesus asks his name in Mark 5:9, it's the demons who answer: 'My name is Legion; for we are many.'
