THIS MIGHT SURPRISE YOU
The answer
Mark, and only Mark (Mark 8:22-26). Jesus puts saliva on the man's eyes and lays his hands on him. The man sees people, but they look like trees walking about. Jesus lays his hands on his eyes again, and then he sees everything.
Why it’s interesting
It is one of only three stories in Mark that neither Matthew nor Luke tells. The other two are a deaf man healed with Jesus's fingers in his ears (Mark 7:31-37) and a young man who runs off naked at the arrest (Mark 14:51-52).
