DID YOU KNOW?
The answer
Matthew and Luke. Matthew's mockers say, "Prophesy to us, you Messiah! Who is it that struck you?" (Matthew 26:68). Luke's ask, "Prophesy! Who is it who struck you?" (Luke 22:64). In Mark they say only "Prophesy!" (Mark 14:65).
Why it’s interesting
In Mark they blindfold Jesus before they strike him. Matthew's telling has the question but no blindfold (Matthew 26:67-68). Lines that Matthew and Luke share against Mark, like this one, are called the minor agreements.
